Staff at our facility have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and are equipped for personal training and strength and conditioning for the general, special, and sports performance populations.

The qualifications for personal training and strength and conditioning at EliteWellness Performance and Recovery exceed what you would find at commercialized chain gyms, which consist of certified personal trainers (CPTs) that only require a high school diploma and sit for an exam after taking a three-credit course at a local community college at most!

In the B.S of Kinesiology, we are required to take the ACE course I mentioned previously in addition to the 117 credits that take four years to earn at an accredited university. Other big-box gyms offer the public personal strength training and conditioning; however, they do not educate clients on the scopes of practice and qualifications that they and other kinesiology professionals possess.
